Add social sharing buttons to your blog. This might sound basic, but you’d be amazed at the number of people who forget this crazy basic step. There are multiple plugins that do it – and just taking those few minutes to find a great socialsharing plugin and add it, gets your blog ready for a bunch of automated traffic. #worthit
WP Timesaver #2:
Use WordPress shortcuts. When you are in your editor, creating posts, you can use the shortcuts you normally would with programs like Microsoft Word etc.
My favourite is:
Alt + Shift + f = Fullscreen distraction free writing
Also, you can enable shortcuts to manage comments here: Users » Your Profile and check Keyboard Shortcuts check box. (make sure you save) then you can use the following on the comments screen:
J = Next comment (moves the current selection down)
K = Previous comment (moves the current selection up)
A = Approve comment
U = Unapprove comment
D = Delete comment
R = Reply comment
Q = Quick edit a comment
Z = Restore Comment from Trash or Undo if you Delete a comment
WP Timesaver #3:
Build a mailing list! Sorry if you have heard me (or other marketers) tell you this – but, hey – chances are… a bunch of them were telling you via an email subscriber list… haha.
It works and setting up autoresponders is one of the best way to do it, so you can just focus on building your blog and getting traffic to it – and having follow ups automated.
Followups can either be engagement ones, getting them back to the blog, or even automated your income with some affiliate promotions.
WP Timesaver #4:
Keep your blog running smoothly by automating permanent removal of posts and pages from the trash folder (bet you didn’t even know there was one yeah? This is a tiny bit techie, so don’t do it if you aren’t confident with code. Go to your wp-config.php file and add this to clean out your trash every 10 days

Use affiliate programs, or plugins that automatically update to display the current best selling offers.
This way, you can set it up once and not have to worry about your blog’s promotions looking dated in 6 months from now, when you are focused on other aspects of your online business.
